  1. Jehovahs Witnesses who are they?
    A) They are at your door to recruit you for their watchtower society corporation, they will say that *we are just here to share a message from the Bible*... this is deception right off.
    B) Their *message* creed is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it's not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim *..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple*.
    C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban against *whole blood* has killed thousands.
    D) once they recruit you they will *love bomb* you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off.

    1. I think that perhaps Danny Haszard has commented with the false impression that this site supports the Jehovah's Witnesses. We do not. Charles Taze Russell was never a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and the points given are lost as far as Russell is concerned.

On the other hand, we agree with much is stated; the message that the JWs preach, in many respects, is almost the opposite of the glad tidings of great joy that will be for all the people that Russell preached.

    2. Russell, around 1872, came to realize that Jesus would not return in the flesh, thus Russell was not like those who were claiming to be Christ in the flesh, that he could found in here or there. Nor did Russell believe that God's Kingdom was to be recognized here or there in the flesh as the JWs claim for their organization.

In 1876, Russell, who already had come to the conclusion that Christ would not return in the flesh, did accept Barbour's studies which indicated that Christ had returned in 1874. Does this make him a false prophet? No, first, he did not claim dogmatism for such; he did not claim that one had to believe his conclusions or else he was not a Christian. He certainly did not threaten anyone with the second death if they did not accept his conclusions. He did not claim any authority as a prophet, or as a "governing body", etc., and he simply presented his conclusions and allowed all to either accept or reject his conclusion. Since he was not saying that Jesus could be found here or there, as in the flesh, he certainly was not in disagreement with Jesus' statement that his kingdom does not come with observation; indeed, what Russell preached regarding the manner of Christ's return was in agreement with what Jesus stated.

On the other hand, Rutherford created an physical organization and, in effect, claimed that his organization is God's Kingdom, and, in effect, said, Here it is, you can see what great works we are doing; come to what we claim to be God's organization (kingdom) for salvation.

    3. Charles Taze Russell can certainly not be held responsible for the JWs' prohibition of blood transfusions. He never wrote about blood transfusion at all. For what Russell did write concerning eating of blood, and my conclusions regarding blood transfustion, see:
